Where the income comes from
The guide carries one kind of paid placement: links to an online casino partner. They appear in three places only:
- a link in the site menu
- two blocks on the home page
Each one is marked Ad. Inner pages, including this one and every entry in the field notes, carry no ads.
When a reader follows one of those links, the partner may pay the site a commission. The partner can change over time. If it does, the Ad label stays where it is.
What is not paid
Every other outbound link is unpaid. That includes:
- links to the casinos' own websites
- Play Alberta
- AGLC and the Alberta iGaming Corporation
- help lines and support services
No casino pays for coverage, placement or the order in which venues appear. The notes on each venue are drawn from official and published sources, as described in the field method.
What the guide does not claim
The guide does not claim that its advertising partner is registered in Alberta, and it does not show bonuses or offers of any kind.
Since July 13, 2026, an online operator must register with AGLC and sign an operating agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation to operate legally in the province. Readers can check for themselves:
- The Alberta iGaming Corporation keeps a directory of registered iGaming sites. In its own words, if an operator does not appear there, it is not regulated.
- AGLC publishes a public registry that lists each registered company alongside its site names.
